Making secure and dependable 3D printers since 2012. We develop our own hardware and software, invent new technologies, and manufacture key components ourselves, including the electronics.
Od prvního návrhu až po testovací výtisk ve výrobní hale. Hardware, software a klíčové součástky pochází přímo z našich dílen v Praze a americkém Delaware.

Vyrobeno v Evropě a USA
Každý měsíc od nás odchází 10 000 tiskáren. Zachováváme si kontrolu nad výrobou i dodavatelským řetězcem. Celý proces funguje stejně i za oceánem.

Standard kvality a přesnosti
Přesné rozměry, čistý povrch a opakovatelné výsledky. Během celého vývoje a výroby testujeme jednotlivé součásti i hotové tiskárny.

Tiskárna, která vydrží
Spolehlivost na průmyslové úrovni. Žádné lepené díly, vše můžete rozebrat pomocí šroubováku. K dispozici jsou náhradní díly i softwarová podpora.

Elektronika z naší linky
Naše vlastní SMT linky zvládají jak výrobu prototypů, tak i kompletní sériovou výrobu naší elektroniky.

Open-source
Náš firmware a PrusaSlicer (slicovací software) jsou open-source, což znamená, že si zdrojový kód na GitHubu může kdokoliv prohlédnout.

Zabezpečení a 100% soukromí
Nepotřebujeme vidět vaše data, proto nemusíte ani jednou připojovat svoji tiskárnu k internetu. Přesto ji můžete bez kompromisů naplno využívat.
Josef Průša got into 3D printing as a student in Prague and joined the open-source RepRap project in 2009. In 2012, he founded Prusa Research as a one-person start-up. The first printer kits were built in a Prague basement and sometimes shipped in pizza boxes.
Over the following years, the small workshop grew into a vertically integrated 3D-printing company. We brought more and more development and production in-house, from electronics and printed parts to firmware, PrusaSlicer and materials, while the Original Prusa i3 helped make the Prusa name known around the world.
The people, factories, and printers behind Prusa today.
Prusa Research grew from Josef Prusa’s work in the RepRap project. Our mission is clear: make enjoyable machines for everyone to use. Open-source is our heart, we strongly believe in the community and in sharing how we do things so others can learn and create.
Our goal is for our printers to remain moddable, easily repairable, and produce amazing prints even decades after their initial release. Reprint the plastic parts, flash custom firmware, read through our circuit board designs, or completely modify our printers to meet your specific needs.
